Jennifer Espinoza

Jennifer Espinoza is a trans woman poet and full time faculty member in MIU’s Low-Residency MFA in Creative Writing program. She has mentored in the MFA program in poetry and multi-genre and teaches many online courses. Jennifer is the author of THERE SHOULD BE FLOWERS (Civil Coping Mechanisms, 2016) and I’m Alive / It Hurts / I Love It (Big Lucks 2019). She has an MFA in creative writing from the University of California at Riverside.
