    If you’re a U.S. student, start by submitting the FAFSA. MIU’s FAFSA school code is 011113. After you are accepted to MIU, our financial aid office will guide you through the rest.
    Rather than offering scholarships on an individual basis, at MIU we aim to keep costs as low as possible for all students. MIU is one of America’s most affordable universities, and federal grants and loans typically cover all or most costs for US students.
    Yes, Federal Work-Study (FWS) is available to U.S. citizens and eligible non-citizens (permanent residents, approved asylees) who qualify based on financial need and are studying on-campus. The amount of Federal Work-Study that each student qualifies for will be listed on their financial aid award letter.
    Full-time international undergraduate students may apply for up to $6,000 scholarship based on qualifying level of documented family income. Our scholarship application form will be available upon application to the university.
