Metrics for Sustainable Business

In this course, also developed by Professor Herriott through research that led to his 2016 book on the subject, you learn how to design and write the annual sustainability report for a company or public organization by applying the principles and practices of sustainability accounting.

Leading Organizational Change for Sustainability

You have ideas for change. How do you make them work? You need to understand the “people” issues in effective change management, including key factors such as resistance to change, responsible change leadership, and implementing change in a diverse global environment. Extensive experiential material and an outside field study are used to illustrate change intervention strategies with an emphasis on “soft side” change issues.

Students may take the MBA degree jointly in combination with one of the shorter MS or MA programs (SAP Enterprise Resource Planning & Business Analytics, or Sustainability Measurement and Reporting, or Leadership and Workplace Conflict Resolution.) The joint degree plan must be approved by the student’s faculty advisor at least one semester before finishing the requirements for one of the degrees. The College of Business allows up to 16 credits of the combined credit requirement of the two degrees to be met by courses common to the two programs.
Students have to complete a total of 58 credits.
