Rather than offering scholarships on an individual basis, at MIU we aim to keep costs as low as possible for all students. MIU is one of America’s most affordable universities, and federal grants and loans typically cover all or most costs for US students.

New online degree-seeking students can begin their studies at MIU with a three-week, no-cost trial period. You’ll complete the standard application, financial aid, and admissions process and start your first class as a regular student.
If you decide MIU isn’t the right fit and withdraw in writing within the first three weeks, you won’t owe any tuition or fees.
If you choose to continue after the three-week trial, your coursework and credits carry forward seamlessly, and regular tuition and fees would then apply. This allows you to experience MIU’s Consciousness-Based Education firsthand before making a financial commitment.
