The best airports to consider are Des Moines (DSM) and Cedar Rapids (CID). The Moline (MLI) and Burlington (BRL) airports could also be considered. The nearest Amtrak stations are in Mt. Pleasant and Ottumwa. Greyhound offers bus service to Fairfield.
