The BA in Ayurveda Wellness & Integrative Health trains students to be Ayurveda consultants. Students learn purification procedures, 5 sense therapies, essential oils, etc. They also learn modern anatomy and physiology. By graduation, they have satisfied the entry-level competencies for membership in the National Ayurvedic Medical Association as Ayurvedic Health Counselors.
The MS in Maharishi AyurVeda & Integrative Medicine trains students to be Maharishi AyurVeda Practitioners. Students learn to assess more intricate and detailed levels of balance and imbalance, and specifically to address common disorders of all the organ systems with all the modalities of Maharishi AyurVeda – diet, lifestyle, herbs, purification procedures, 5 sense therapies, etc. They also learn modern anatomy, physiology, and pathology of the organ systems. Students who take the Advanced Clinical Training Track will be eligible to take the National Ayurvedic Medical Association (NAMA) Ayurvedic Practitioner Exam.
