Course Description

Maharishi in 1959
Imagine it is 1959 and you have heard that Maharishi Mahesh Yogi has come to America for the first time to teach meditation in New York City. He stays and gives a month of advanced lectures answering any and all questions from those who have been initiated through his newly founded Spiritual Regeneration Movement.
Don’t you wish you could be there to hear him? This is your chance. This unique course will present the audio recordings from that historic series of talks. The tapes also include a slide show of period photos and subtitles. The audio quality is surprisingly good for 1959 and you probably will not need to rely on the subtitles, but some people might find them helpful.
The complete series of 36 talks will be presented in two 12-session courses through MIU Continuing Education. The course leader for the first session is Susan Siefert, long-time TM teacher and international staff member since her 1970 teacher training course in Rishikesh. Come and enjoy – tell your friends.
