US Checklist Master’s Transcripts

Transcripts

Request that official transcripts from your bachelor’s degree program be submitted to Maharishi International University. Transcripts must come directly to us from the institutions attended. Transcripts can be sent electronically to admisdoc@miu.edu. Paper copies should be mailed to the address below. Official transcripts sent by mail must be delivered to us in a sealed envelope; official transcripts sent by email must be password protected.

US Grad Checklist Recommendation

Recommendation

Request one recommendation from someone who can attest to your academic or professional performance. The recommendation should come from a current or former teacher or workplace supervisor. Other recommendations can be considered on a case-by-case basis. Send your recommender the link to our recommendation form, and they will submit it directly back to us.

All students at our university practice the Transcendental Meditation (TM) technique, which provides many benefits for body and mind. Please learn the TM technique and submit the Transcendental Meditation Teacher Recommendation (or, if you are a resident of India, you are required to complete the Transcendental Meditation Teacher Recommendation for Residents of India).

Photocopy the page of your passport that contains your photograph and identity information. E-mail a scanned version of this document (use JPG format only) to your admissions counselor.

International Checklist Bank Statement text

As part of your application procedure, you are required to provide to the U.S. Embassy, as well as to the University, a recent bank statement (issued within the past month) showing your current available balance and recent account activity, as proof that you have the funds required for the first academic year.

If you do not have a recent bank statement, an official bank letter typed on bank letterhead is also acceptable. The bank letter must include the following:

International Checklist Standardized Test Scores

You are not required to take the SAT, ACT, GMAT (Graduate Management Admission Test) or GRE (Graduate Record Examinations); however if you have taken any of these tests, please e-mail the scanned official documents to your admissions counselor.

Please note that although these tests are not a standard requirement for admission, depending on our evaluation of your application your Admissions Counselor may require any of these tests for admission to MIU.
