Owen Blake, Ph.D.
DIRECTOR
Owen holds a doctorate from Maharishi International University in Maharishi Vedic Science, where his research examined the effects of the Transcendental Meditation technique on performance and wellbeing in professional esport athletes. He currently serves as MIU’s Associate Athletic Director, teaches in the Maharishi Vedic Science department, and is a faculty fellow with the Dr. Tony Nader Institute.
Joe Holland
HOST
Joe received his undergraduate degree in Popular Music from the University of Liverpool in the UK. He has an MA in Maharishi Vedic Science from Maharishi International University where he teaches courses in Consciousness and Human Potential. Before coming to MIU he lived in London where he worked in radio broadcasting.
Marta-Kristi Põld
BRAND MANAGER
Marta has a diverse background that includes work with startup technology companies in Silicon Valley, along with experience in digital marketing, branding, and consciousness-based businesses and nonprofits. She is passionate about bringing greater awareness of consciousness into the business world and teaches methods grounded in emotional intelligence and inner development. She holds a Master’s degree in Consciousness and Human Potential from Maharishi International University.
Ruta Matuleviciute
Communication Strategist
Ruta is a Lithuanian fine artist and a member of the Lithuanian Artists’ Association with an MFA in Painting from Vilnius Academy of Arts and an MA in Enlightenment and Leadership from Maharishi International University. Ruta’s projects include curatorial practice, website creation, and project management. She is currently serving as the Director of Visual Arts for the NextGen Arts for Enlightenment project, highlighting the importance of the value of consciousness-based art.
