In the Fall 2014, the new batch of doctoral students embarked upon their research journey. In the first year of the program they dive deep into the MVS knowledge under the guidance of the professors. In the second year, the individual research begins. We’d like to present the PhD in Vedic Science program through the new students and their impressions of the program.

On May 16th, MIU students dressed to impress for the 2015 Graduation Ball.
The Grad Ball is an annual MIU event that celebrates the year’s graduating class. It is held in the Arts and Convention Center (the same space that hosts the EcoJam fashion show) and features music, dancing, food, a photobooth, and more. MIU student Maggie Robinson learned the TM® technique at 19, and four years later she became a teacher of the Transcendental Meditation® technique. Had she known about MIU at the time, she would have become a student. That was about 40 years ago. Now, a mother of three and a grandmother of five, Maggie decided it’s better late than never. Last summer, she and her husband Rhett sold their four-acre pesticide-free farm in Pennsylvania and enrolled at MIU.
