Laura Muzzarelli is a Media and Communications senior, set to graduate later this month. She’s been at MIU for two and a half years, and much of her time has been spent taking film courses and helping with the David Lynch Masters in Film students’ projects.
Sustainable MBA students Nick and Shuya met and fell in love at Maharishi International University. Shuya grew up in China and got her undergraduate degree in English studies. Wanting to put her new language skills to the test, she enrolled at MIU. There she met Nick, a New Jerseyan whose hectic past of culinary arts, international hospitality management, and psychology led him to the calm lifestyle of MIU.
A couple of months ago I caught up with one of the Sustainable Living department’s most successful graduates, Samantha Thomas. Back then, as the executive director of DreamChange, Samantha was in the process of wrapping up their first annual Love Summit in Portland, OR, “an annual event that brings together the business community and public to explore the missing link in business and sustainability education: love.”
