Join us for a guided tour through some of Maharishi’s most important and inspiring teachings. This twelve-lesson course features a collection of widely loved talks by Maharishi, enriched by commentary and personal reflections from guest speakers who participated in many of the formative years of the Transcendental Meditation movement. Together, the talks explore four major themes:
- Higher States of Consciousness
- Maharishi’s Philosophy of Action
- TM, Personal Relationships and Society
- TM, Religion and Yoga.

Course Fee:
- $125 general course fee
- $75 discounted course fee for full-time students, full-time TM organization staff, and low-income retirees.

- Part of the course fee will go towards the tape digitization project currently underway by Maharishi Global Archives & Collections (MGAC) at MIU. This crucial digitization work will support future Continuing Education courses with precious archival recordings.

Bob Roth is one of the world’s most experienced teachers of Transcendental Meditation, having taught the technique for more than five decades. He serves as CEO of the David Lynch Foundation and is the author of the New York Times bestseller Strength in Stillness. Through his work, he has helped bring meditation to students, healthcare professionals, veterans, and leaders around the world.
Susan Marcus

Susan Marcus is a longtime educator who taught at Maharishi School and has dedicated many years to Consciousness-Based Education. Through her work with students and families, she helped foster both academic excellence and personal growth grounded in the development of consciousness. She is valued for her commitment to Maharishi’s educational principles and her contribution to nurturing generations of learners in the Fairfield community.
Gerry Geer

Gerry Geer is a longtime educator, writer, and senior faculty member at Maharishi International University. Widely appreciated for his clear teaching style and deep understanding of Maharishi’s knowledge, he has guided thousands of students in the study of higher states of consciousness and human development. He is also known for his contributions as an author, editor, musician, and mentor within the MIU community.

Dr. Judy Booth learned Transcendental Meditation in 1968 and became a TM teacher in Rishikesh, India, in 1970. She worked closely with Maharishi Mahesh Yogi on many significant projects and has spent decades teaching Maharishi’s knowledge, particularly the Bhagavad-Gita and the development of higher states of consciousness. Her presentations are valued for their depth, clarity, and practical wisdom.
Denise Gerace

Dr. Denise Denniston Gerace is an educator, author, and longtime teacher of Transcendental Meditation who has spent more than five decades helping people understand and apply Maharishi’s knowledge in daily life. She holds a PhD in Philosophy of Education from the University of California, Berkeley, has served as a faculty member and dean at Maharishi International University, and is the author of The TM Book and other widely read introductions to the TM program.

Susan Seifert is a longtime teacher of Transcendental Meditation, educator, and course leader who has spent decades helping individuals deepen their understanding of consciousness and personal growth. She has guided thousands of participants through educational and self-development programs and has played a leading role in presenting and preserving Maharishi’s early lectures and teachings for contemporary audiences.

Candace Badgett
Session 7: Personal Relationships – October 31 with Candace Badgett

Dr. Candace Badgett is an international leader in the Transcendental Meditation organization and co-founder of The Raj Ayurveda Health Center in Fairfield, Iowa. A TM teacher since 1975, she has helped pioneer the introduction of Maharishi Ayurveda in North America. She is an internationally respected speaker on Ayurveda, consciousness, women’s well-being, and Vedic science.
Dennis Raimondi

Dennis Raimondi is an educator, broadcaster, and longtime teacher of Transcendental Meditation. He holds a master’s degree in education from Harvard University and is known for conducting thoughtful interviews with leaders in spirituality, education, public service, and culture. For many years he has explored the practical applications of consciousness, meditation, and human development through teaching, media, and public dialogue.
Leonard Goldman

Leonard (“Lenny”) Goldman has been a valued member of the Maharishi International University community for many years. Dr. Evan Finkelstein is an Emeritus Professor of Maharishi Vedic Science at Maharishi International University. He has devoted his career to studying Maharishi Vedic Science and to exploring the core principles underlying the world’s great spiritual traditions and their relationship to the universal principles of Maharishi’s Science and Technology of Consciousness. In 2007, Maharishi gave him the role of National Director of Religion and Culture for the United States. Beloved by generations of students, he is known for his insightful, engaging presentations on both Maharishi’s knowledge and comparative religion.
William Sands, PhD

Professor William Sands, PhD is Dean of the College of Maharishi Vedic Science at Maharishi International University. He has lectured in over 30 countries, including in Europe, the Middle East, India, and throughout Asia, and has published articles on a variety of topics. He is a Sanskrit scholar and the author of four books, entitled: The Royal Path to Enlightenment, Maharishi Mahesh Yogi and His Gift to the World, Maharishi’s Yoga Volume II: Yoga and Vedānta, and Everything Is Made of Vedic Sounds.

Buzz Allen
Buzz Allen is currently an administrator and founding board member at the Maharishi Global Archives & Collections at MIU. He became a TM Teacher in 1971 and has taught over 500 people. He graduated from Princeton University in 1975 and has worked for the TM organization full-time for many years at Cobb Mountain, Maharishi School and MIU. Since 1998 he has also worked as President of the Accelerated Learning Foundation which teaches math and science reasoning through educational games worldwide. His main roles there were project director for programming teams adapting manual games to online versions and he was also the head of marketing and teacher training.

Are the lectures audio recordings, or are they videos?
This course consists of all video recordings of Maharishi, except where described as an audiotape.
How long are the videos available to view?
Videos are available to view for at least one year after signing up.
