Ganesh Baniya, Accounting Manager at The Washington Post in Washington, DC, graduated with his MBA from MIU in May of 2012 with a GPA of 3.99. While a student in the MBA Accounting Program, Ganesh passed all parts of the Certified Management Accounting Exam, and his Capsim Foundation Simulation team finished #1 in an international business competition against more than 100 MBA teams. MIU student Joshua Laraby grew up in Escanaba, Michigan. After spending five years in a corporate job in the grocery industry, he needed a challenge and decided to get a degree. He has always had an interest in alternative medicine so he began a pre-medicine program at the University of Wisconsin. After his first year, however, he noticed a Facebook ad for MIU and after browsing the MIU website he found what he had been looking for.
