Our two major income streams are student tuition and your Annual Fund donations. Together these account for 77% of the income we use to operate the University each year.

In the past year, we received more than $4 million in donations, including support for the Annual Fund, which helps enormously with operating expenses.

As a private university we enjoy no tax support. As a young institution, we have just the beginning of an endowment. This means we must operate our university without a major source of revenue that other institutions enjoy. Despite this challenge, we have created the highest quality university education in the world.

How do we do it? We are fortunate to have a human endowment — an exceptionally dedicated and talented faculty and staff. Working essentially as volunteers, they contribute their expertise in teaching, research, and management. They make up for the $50-100 million endowment we do not yet have. We are so grateful for what our open-hearted family of donors contributes to Maharishi University of Management year after year.

And now we are hosting the Invincible America Assembly, which is creating such marvelous effects in our country and in the world. The associated costs are largely being carried by the University — and so your support is more vitally needed than ever. We extend our deepest gratitude to all of you for your contributions — generous, wise, and visionary.
